Here is an interesting fellow, Dan Marx. He has been building speakers for a long time and has a lot of useful information on his website and he has always been quick to respond to my email questions. He too, is passive radiator buff like myself and has a couple of animated gifs on one of his links showing the different effects of flat passive radiators and the different rubber surround effects used in the various passive radiator designs.

I have my website set up primarily for the home theater DIY speakerhobby enthusiasts, but I found this car audio link that has a ton of information with regards to ohms calculations, amplifier loads, resistance, series and parallel wiring, ohms law, ac & dc, and so much more, and the information applies to home audio speaker wiring and building in general. Speakers and electrical properties are the same whether used in an auto or home theater application. This is an excellent reference site and allows you to add your own parameters and it will calculate some values for you. This is a very essential link for the newbie looking to build his or her first speaker system as well as those who have some experience but, need some extra tips.
